VIS-Check® is fully transportable and can be used for above-ground or in-ground installation. The system is used above-ground in conjunction with aluminium access ramps.
The VIS-Check® tests vehicle brake force, brake balance, wheel rolling resistance and deceleration to determine braking performance and efficiency to identify unnecessary wear and drag on the wheels. VIS-Check® also takes axle weight measurements. All data can be downloaded to a Windows-based computer and stored in a database for further analysis.
The dynamic road simulator allows the operator to quickly diagnose and inspect steering and suspension components throughout the vehicle. Kingpins, bearings, suspension bushings, cab mounts, tie rods and all other undercarriage components can be quickly inspected.
